Anugerah focuses on three areas: reviewing and improving how a home is arranged for everyday comfort, coordinating weekly meal planning and grocery ordering, and arranging regular companionship visits. All activities are centred on day-to-day household life, social interaction and general wellbeing — not on personal care or health-related tasks.

How does the companion matching process work?

We start by learning about your older relative's personality, interests and daily schedule. A companion is then chosen based on how well they are likely to get along — shared interests, a comfortable communication style, and experience with older adults in the KL area. Families are informed before the first visit, and we welcome feedback throughout.

Can we adjust the visit schedule or meal plan if things change?

Yes. All arrangements can be reviewed and updated as your family's situation or your older relative's preferences shift. We ask for reasonable notice for scheduling changes — typically a few days — but we're flexible and will do our best to accommodate what works for your household.

How will I know what happened during a visit or weekly cycle?

After each companionship visit, we share a short written note with the family covering how the visit went, what activities took place and anything worth mentioning. For meal and grocery coordination, a brief weekly summary is sent to confirm what was planned and ordered.

Does Anugerah provide nursing or personal care?

No. Anugerah's services cover household organisation, meal and grocery coordination, and social companionship only. We do not provide personal care, nursing, or any activity that falls under regulated professional practice. Families needing those services are encouraged to contact the appropriate registered providers.
