About Anugerah
Home is where the people we love deserve to feel settled and looked after
Anugerah was built on a simple belief: that families should have a thoughtful, reliable way to coordinate everyday support for older relatives without having to manage every detail themselves.
Back to HomepageOur Story
Starting from a quiet problem that many families share
Anugerah grew out of conversations with families in Kuala Lumpur who were navigating a situation that is more common than people talk about openly: an older parent or grandparent living alone or with limited daily support, and family members who care deeply but don't always have the time or proximity to manage everything themselves.
The question wasn't about finding someone to do everything — it was about finding a steady, calm way to organise the most important parts of everyday life: a comfortable home arrangement, reliable meals, and the simple reassurance of regular company and conversation.
Anugerah was set up to fill that space — not as a large organisation with standardised packages, but as a small, careful coordination service that starts by listening to each family and works outward from there.
Our Mission
To make it straightforward for families in Kuala Lumpur to arrange thoughtful, consistent everyday support for older relatives — so that home remains a calm and familiar place.
Our Approach
We start every engagement with a conversation — not a form. We ask about routines, preferences, what works and what doesn't. Support is shaped from that, and reviewed as things change over time.
Where We Work
Anugerah operates in Kuala Lumpur and across the Klang Valley. Our coordination network is built on local knowledge — suppliers, companions and contacts familiar with KL's neighbourhoods and communities.

How We Work
The standards we hold ourselves to
Careful Companion Selection
Every companion is chosen with attention to personality fit, background, and experience with older adults in a Malaysian household context.
Privacy & Discretion
Family and household information shared with us is handled with care. We do not share details with third parties beyond what is necessary to coordinate the agreed services.
Regular Service Reviews
We review each arrangement at agreed intervals to confirm it still fits the household's situation and to make adjustments where needed.
Written Communication
All visit notes and coordination updates are provided in writing — so families have a clear record without having to rely on verbal summaries.
Scope Boundaries Respected
Our services cover household, social and coordination activities only. We do not take on regulated personal or professional activities and are clear about this from the outset.
Family Satisfaction Focus
We ask for feedback at the end of every review cycle and take it seriously. If something isn't working well, we address it before the next period begins.
Home support coordination in Kuala Lumpur — shaped around real families
Older adults living at home in Kuala Lumpur often do so in familiar surroundings that carry decades of comfort — but everyday logistics can become harder to manage over time. Families who live nearby, or those managing things from further away, often reach a point where they want a structured arrangement in place rather than relying on ad hoc solutions.
Anugerah offers three distinct coordination services: a home comfort and accessibility review, ongoing weekly meal planning and grocery coordination, and the arrangement of regular companionship visits. Each is a practical, household-level service — not a substitute for professional care, but a meaningful layer of support that makes daily life calmer and more organised.
Families across Kuala Lumpur and the wider Klang Valley have found that having a dedicated coordinator — someone who understands the household, communicates consistently and handles logistics without drama — frees up time, reduces worry and makes the whole situation feel more manageable. That's the role Anugerah is designed to play.
